While I do not own this sword, I do have to make a comment on it. This sword is clearly for display purposes only as a sword the proportions of Cloud's Sword in the video game and movie clearly are unwieldly and could never be used for anything but display purposes. The question I raise is why didn't they make it more to its true dimensions in the game/movie. It would be much harder to swing around a 5-6 foot long 1 foot thick blade, and would also be more true to the original. So you'd have less people breaking it by trying to use it and it would look much cooler as a display piece... I imagine it would be much more expensive, but I'm sure avid fans would buy it.
Haha course I can see people now trying to swing it around and hurting themselves, but at least it would be comical.

Well the worse part is the sword is about 1-½ feet to short and about 4 inches not wide enough. I know it can't be all the way to Cloud's sword, but I still would have loved it if was. However, they do say the size above so it's not like I did not expect this. The only other thing is they have " Made in Pakistan, " printed right on one side of the blade. It makes it so you can only display it one way. I don't know why they did not put it on the handle or someplace else other then right in the center of the blade. All in all it's cool for fans to have, but a little disappointing at the same time. However, it's the cheapest version of the sword I've seen. So if you've got some spare cash and want to impress your friends, I'd still going to say pick it up.Customer Review: A huge FF VII fan, Disapointed.

But what do I expect with such a low price! I was really, Really hoping this sword would be practical, Oh how disapointed I was. One swing into a wooden block.. And the blade feels as though it was literally just gonna fall off. With that said, It makes an excellent wall decoration! If you are a huge fan like myself, Then this might make you happy to just be able to hold it. It is a awesome looking sword, Turned the heads of everyone whom sees it for the first time! All and all, This ones for the Die-Hard fans and collectors only! If you want a more practical sword your going to have to give up more ($.$)Customer Review: Nice

This is a good sword to display....but not for use. The blade is attached (welded) to a thin piece of threaded metal rod (the tang) which holds the handle in place by two nuts. If used, im pretty sure it would break on the first hit. I would suggest that a better purchase would be the huge full tang version of this sword.Customer Review: It's okay.

If you're a fanboy and you ABSOLUTELY LOVE Final Fantasy, of course, you are going to NEED the Buster sword. For the price it's not a bad deal, but don't expect much more than a huge butter knife. I know it's cheap but I wouldn't mind paying a little more to get something of a little higher quality.
