This thing is Awesome. My son started using it at 18mnths. I've taken him to the pool sone he was four months and tried several floatation devices. He hates the floaty rings (couldn't play with the water) and didn't like to arm floats either (difficult moving with them around his arms). We finally found this thing and he loves it. He's had it for six months now and I've already been able to take out three of the baffles.

I do agree with some of the other comments. The strap between the legs do chaf a little and if you tighten it down the vest will just work it's way down the body. It won't come off the child, just be a little lower than where you started.

I would highly resommend this product to anyone and I have. I'll definately be ordering the next larger size for my boy.
