Transports up to 2 bikes. Compatible with 1 1/4" and 2" receiver hitch. It has a built in anti-woble hitch device. Upright ratchedt arms easily adjust to different bike frame sizes. It will accomodatge bike framse up to 59cm. The center arm folds down to allow acccess to the rear of the vehicle without removing the rack. Fits 20: to 29" tire sizes. Swagman XC Cross Country 2 bike hitch mount rack for 2 inch receiver is study, steady and secure for two heavy bikes. Secure easy load and unload; ZERO bounce on the highway! Takes about 10 minutes to set up first time, then less than 20 seconds to load and secure each bike and even less to unload. Folds up, stores easy. The tapered hitch pin is key to the no-wobble, no bounce fit but requires a wrench to install and remove rack from vehicle. The pin also has an exposed hole for retainer clip but you could easily use a lock instead. Good value and more stable than anything else I've seen on the road.Customer Review: Well Built and Stable.

I have used this rack a few times now the last being a 4 hour round trip which it held up perfectly. The Swagman rack is well made, very stable and I trust it without hesitation. The rack was attached to the swagman receiver mount for square camper bumpers which also worked great. If I had to complain about something it would be the pin that holds it in is actully a bolt that screws in so a locking pin is unable to be used. The bolt does draw the rack to the hitch to prevent it from rattling around. I purchased the model with the 2-inch receiver. I then realized my hitch was a 1-1/4" receiver. I figured I would have to return this for the more expensive 1-1/4" model. To my surprise the packaging states that it fits both sizes. I put together the rack and sure enough it is made to fit the 1-1/4" receivers and includes an adapter for 2" receivers. I now have it installed on my 2008 Ford Escape and it works great. There is a bit of a wobble, but as long as you don't have it permanently installed, it shouldn't be much of an issue. As to why the 1-1/4" model is more expensive, I am baffled.Customer Review: Bike Rack Exceeds Expectations.

This rack is advertized as easy to put together out of the box, and easy to use once you are ready to to ride. Both of these statements are completely true. We have one man's and one woman's comfort bikes and the different length center main clamps of the rack are perfectly suited to these differences in bike design. The rack is very easy to insert and lock into our trailer hitch and the bikes are extremely easy to load requiring only a minimal lift and support to set and lock them into the rack. I found my Swagman to be a sturdy well designed bicycle rack that was easy to set up. It carries my bike securily with it's locking levers although to be even safer I use a cargo type rubber strap to secure bike to rack along with a locking cable. The 5/8" hitch lock offed by Amazon for purchase with it does not fit the drilled hole, which starts out 5/8" and steps down to 1/2", instead I used the locking pin furnished with the rack and the above mentioned lockable cable.
I would recommend this hitch mount rack.
