Transports up to 2 bikes. Compatible with 1 1/4" and 2" receiver hitch. It has a built in anti-woble hitch device. Upright ratchedt arms easily adjust to different bike frame sizes. It will accomodatge bike framse up to 59cm. The center arm folds down to allow acccess to the rear of the vehicle without removing the rack. Fits 20: to 29" tire sizes. We took our bikes with us last year using a bike rack on the back of our travel trailer. What a disaster! It took us 30 minutes to secure our bikes on the rack and they still bounced all over. We saw the Swagman bike rack on a travel trailer in the Grand Canyon and saw how easy it was to use. We purchased this rack and cannot believe how easy it is to use. The bikes are on and off the rack in a few minutes - totally secured in the tire holders - with the bar that holds them in place. Can't wait to take our bikes on our trip this year so we can actually ride them and not spend so much time securing them to a rack. This is a great product. We have two bikes one being a step-thru style bike and both are easily secured by the ratcheting clamps. The rack takes about 10-15 mins to put together and seems very solid. The threaded bolt that attatches to the hitch receiver takes a little longer to screw in than a pin, but it does make for a wobble free connection. The first time I used it bungeed down the wheels, but I later decided that was unnecessary and quit doing that. As long as the clamps are firmly on the frame the bikes aren't going anywhere. Small hint, if you are having a hard time releasing the clamps to remove the bike just push down on the clamp.Customer Review: Great Product

Bought the Swagman XC Cross-Country 2 after searching bike hitch in the web and some stores. Besides the price was very good, I was particular on how to mount the bike on the rack. I want the flexibility that my wife can also mount the bike easily. I saw this bike hitch mount and immediately figure out that the bike will be very stable since it is holding the bike with the tires and the center frame. It eliminates the concern of mounting a bike with a different frame since the double or single bar post makes a bike frame for ladies difficult to mount. Great Rack. Easy to assemble. Easy to load bikes. No unwanted movement once mated to receiver and holds one or two bikes securely when traveling.
Nicest feature is that it folds up for storage when not in use.
The only problem I had was with the nuts in the hardware kit for securing the wheel mount brackets. They cannot be tightened enough to securely hold the wheel brackets in place. Best to go to your local hardware store and get four replacement 3/8x1.25" carriage bolts with matching nuts and lock washers BEFORE you put this rack together. It'll save you a lot of frustration and wasted time.

Bought on Amazon. Best price anywhere by far. Goes together in a snap and what I really like is how it folds up for easy storage. I can take it off the hitch and stow it in the vehicle when I am off riding. I like the way it supports the bike from below as opposed to having bikes hanging by their frames. Well thought out design, and even the locking (clevis pins) are attached by a small cable to keep from loosing them. Swagman sells an extension to add two more bikes if you need it. I only carry one bike, and have room to carry a second if someone wants to join me on a ride. I highly recommend this carrier.
