Description of Suunto Team Pod Wireless Receiver

Suunto's Team Monitor software displays and records the heart rate data of up to 50 athletes in real time. Using extremely illustrative color coding, the software gives an overview of each team member's heart rate status within, below, or above the target heart rate zone of the session. And coaches aren't restricted to a particular heart rate value, as it shows the value as beats per minute, as a percentage of maximal heart rate, or as a continuous graph from the start of training. Users who own a Suunto T6 wrist-top computer, meanwhile, can also record the beat-to-beat heart rate values for later physiological analysis.

The Team Pod comes with a USB cable and the Team Monitor software, but requires separately sold HR transmitter belts to function. Perfect for aerobics and spinning instructors, physiotherapists, and team coaches, the Team Pod measures 6.4 by 3 by 2 inches (W x H x D) and is backed by a two-year warranty.
