I purchased a Suunto T3 watch a few years ago. After replacing the battery in the watch and the the belt, I noticed that the watch would loose contact with the belt during long workouts. While cleaning the belt, I noticed that it was cracked on one end. So I purchased a new belt. It was very simple to sync the new belt with my watch. I am now more careful stowing the heart rate belt in my gym bag.

The belt is worn under the shirt rather than around the wrist, making it handier for arm-swinging activities. As you jog on a treadmill or ride an exercise bike, the ANT belt transmits your heart rate to the PC Pod's wireless receiver (with a 10-meter range), which then sends your training data directly to a PC. Next, the PC Pod's bundled monitoring software displays and records the heart rate data in real time during the exercise. Compatible with Suunto's T-series wrist-top computers, the ANT belt is a must for individuals with a specific training goal, professional trainers, and physiotherapists. It's also backed by a two-year warranty.
