We purchased this outdoor table from Amazon for our patio area outside and promptly received it. Unpacking and setup takes two adults for the last bit of assembly (lifting) and a few hours total time, but before the evening was done we were playing on it. The table has an aluminum surface on both the top and bottom. We own a brick patio that is not perfectly level so we have to adjust the position of the table to accommodate. It could use a better leveling system but seems pretty sturdy and our ten year old can fold open and close and lock down very easily. We recently ordered a cover as we noticed that water will lay on the support center bottom area after a rain producing some discolored water and we hope to keep this for many years. From a playability factor we cannot tell the difference in bounces from this table to our indoor table. An expert might be able to tell, but the weather is honestly a bigger factor outside than this table. Overall we think the Equinox is an excellent value.
