Sports reviews of Steiner 8 x 30 Wildlife Pro Ultra-Sharp Binocular

Customer Review: High Quality German Optics
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

These Steiner 8 x 30 Wildlife Pro binoculars are awesome. They are lightweight and rugged. They come with a lightly padded, black nylon carrying case, a lens cloth and a high quality neck strap made of nylon webbing with an attached neoprene neck pad with non slip rubber on the inner side. The objective lens covers are attached to the center axis and the ocular lens cover unit is attached to one side of the neck strap, so there's no chance of losing the covers and your lenses stay protected. The rubber armor is a very deep brown, almost a chocolate syrup color.
The image is crisp and bright. The field of view feels nice and full, not like tunnel vision. These reveal things that my other brands of binoculars of the same or greater magnification cannot. The center focus is very smooth and quick to use and easy to grip, just like the rest of the binocular body. It is possible to focus on objects as near as about 6 feet (for up close nature viewing) out to infinity.

These binoculars are high quality German craftsmanship at its finest. I have wanted a pair of Steiners for many years. I am very glad I spent the money on such a fine set of optics. I'm sure they will last me a lifetime and will likely become a family heirloom.

Description of Steiner 8 x 30 Wildlife Pro Ultra-Sharp Binocular

Binocular
Made of precision polycarbonate and alloy, Steiner's compact Wildlife Pro 8x30 series binoculars are built to handle the world's harshest conditions, yet still offer the type of clear, bright, and precise viewing nature observers expect.

The Wildlife Pro binocular includes a neck strap, a rain guard, objective caps, and a carrying case.
The binocular starts with an auto-focus feature that automatically hones in on your subject from roughly 20 yards to infinity. In low-light conditions, this timesaving feature is critical to clear viewing. Steiner then refined the auto-focus system by adding Ultra-Sharp fingertip adjustment. Similar to a traditional center focus, the Ultra-Sharp adjustment requires only a touch of the ribbed fingertip wheel to fine-tune sharpness or focus on nearby objects. With a close-focus distance of 6 feet, the focusing system produces a sharper picture faster than any other binocular on the market.

All Wildlife Pro binoculars come with a super-comfortable neoprene neck strap, a rain guard, objective caps, and a carrying case. The cushioned neck strap, which includes a quick-release buckle system, can be removed instantly for cleaning or replacement. The rain guard, meanwhile, keeps rain, moisture, and dust off the eyepiece, so you enjoy clear views every time. The binocular's objective caps grip the lenses securely for protection. And the case is made of thermo-formed PVC, which basically adds another cushioning layer to the outside of the binocular.

Wrapped in a smooth, quiet, non-reflective earthtone rubber armoring that's nearly invisible to wildlife, Wildlife Pro binoculars carry a 30-year manufacturer's limited warranty.

Today, Steiner manufactures binoculars for the military, marine, hunting, outdoor, birding, and leisure industries.
