I bought these after I had bought a pair of the same type and size at the Miami Boat Show from an unknown brand for $350. I really thought these would be sooooooo much better, given the brand name. I have to tell you I am a bit dissappointed. The optics quality is a hair better than the $350 pair. Definitely not worth the price difference. I'll keep them but wouldn't recommend paying this much for them.
The seller was awesome. Everything happened as I would have expected. Numerous emails to let me know how the proces was going and quick delivery.

Steiner Military 15 x 80 mm Binoculars... as seen on hard-line tactical eyes everywhere! These were developed for military and border patrol applications and are mil. spec. tough: totally waterproof, shock-resistant, and rubber armored to meet mil. standards 810E, MIL C-675, and MIL I45208. Tripod mount is included, but they are light enough to be hand-held. You choose a standard model, or one with integrated high-performance illuminated HD stabilized compass (Commander Military version) and ranging reticle for determining distance and direction of distant targets or objects. Uses 2 watch-type alkaline batteries for the illuminator. 80 mm objective (just over 3" diameter) is a MAJOR light-gatherer for brightest views even in near-dark; Special BaK-4 prisms and unique coatings ensure unsurpassed light transmission for sensationally clear, high-contrast three-dimensional vision; Rubber armoring offers toughness and a great grip; Depth of field is 60 yards out to infinity once focused for your eyes; Nitrogen pressure purging completely eliminates inner fogging; Field of view (F.O.V.) is 195' @ 1,000 yds. 13 mm eye relief; Measure approx. 12 x 8 3/5 x 3 3/5".
