I have a set of S&W handcuffs which I love. I needed to add a set of leg irons to my tool kit and thought these would be a great deal. Thank goodness I tested them before attempting to use them. First off, they say double locking, but the set I received did not have a double locking mechanism. Right here I was upset because I had been misled by the seller, but that was not the biggest problem these irons had. The very first time I had them out of the box, I tried simply unlocking them and the unlocking mechanism jammed. The cheap key they included snapped off in the cuffs and jammed them so they could not be opened. Thank goodness this was a dry test or I would have been having to dig out a hacksaw.
So I got online to return them and found out Heartland will only except returns for exchanges!! Like I would ever use these pieces of junk after the first set broke the first time out of the box. So I am counting it as a 30 dollar lesson learned.
DO NOT waste your money on these cheap cuffs. Save your money and get a set of S&W 1900s.
