My husband has to be at work literally before the crack of dawn and takes soup or chili, etc in this every day. He swears by it. He had one for a very long time, however the "cup" portion cracked and instead of just ordering a part, I got a new one seeing as they are relatively inexpensive. loved the stanley bolt food thermos, just wish that it had a wider mouth for stuffing it with rice/meat/veggies. definitely holds soup at a higher temperature than dry foods (like rice, noodles) but i can still have lunch and leftovers as an afternoon snack and the food is still warmer than warm! great buy.Customer Review: Great Thermos

I have a very restricted diet and have to carry my own food everywhere. This thermos is the perfect size and is very sturdy. Having the right size is important because if there is too much room inside, there will be a large air space and the food will cool off much quicker. I bought two of these for my kids lunches. They love soup and it stays hot when it's time for them to eat it. It has a great design and the handle is nice to have when you are not using any kind of lunch bag as well. Very pleased. We recently bought the 17oz red ones too.

It's a great product. A little heavy but it's worth it. It keeps things warm a long time and is easy to hold. It holds a large can of soup or what ever you want to keep hot. I'm hoping it will withstand it's first drop without breaking. The Stanley Bolt Vacuum Food Jar is worth the price.
