Great jar for keeping food warm. For any vacuum bottle to work properly, you must prime it with hot water then add the hot food to the top so there is no air gap in the bottle. I have had steam release after the bottle is sealed for 12 hours! Not too shabby! Given these out as Christmas gifts for two years now. These are definately built to last and rugged. Do not quite understand why they are shaped to not roll since they have a handle that will prevent rolling, guess it is a gimmick. All in all a great product.Customer Review: I bought 2

I was looking for a thermos that would hold a lot of food or liquid (20 ounces is good). I wanted to be able to take this container anywhere with out worry of spillage or difficulty eating/drinking out of it and for it to stay hot/cold as long as possible. I got ambitious and bought 2 because of the shipping value. I am NOT sorry at all. I use both often, one for food and one for drink. I think you could throw these puppies againt the wall and not damage them and they do hold the temperature well. Great buy!Customer Review: Love it!

I have been putting this thermos through its paces. I have a small collections of thermoses and I love to take them with me. I travel locally allot and hate to stop for my drinks at stores but I make my own the way I like them.
This thermos does indeed do what the other person says, it rocks! I carry soups, chili coffee and ice water. I now started to use it for my morning coffee, the only problem is that it is so hot it takes along time to cool enough to drink. excellent product.

Hubby uses it on the road for his coffee. He also has the taller one which holds a tad bit more. One full pot of coffee will fill this one and the taller Stanley.
He started using this one for sweet tea and because it has a wide mouth it's easy to put ice in. I ended up getting him another one so he could continue to take 2 Stanleys for his coffee.
They will keep things hot/cold for several days! And because it has a large handle, it's comfortable for hubby's large hands.

WAS SURPRISED WHEN I RECEIVED IT, THAT IT WAS MADE AS WELL AS IT IS. BESIDES FROM BEING SO CUTE TO ME, LOOKS LIKE A GAINT BOLT...MY HUSBAND IS A PIPEFITTER, SO HE USES IT FOR SOUPS FOR HIS LUNCHS. I WAS THRILLED WHEN I SAW IT. I FOUND A CHEAPER ONE WHEN LOOKING AT WALMART, BUT AM HAPPIER WITH THE ONE I GOT FROM AMAZON. JUST WHAT I WANTED. AND IT WAS SENT IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER, AND WRAPPED WELL. WORKED FOR ME..THANKS
