Stanley figured out how to make a great vacuum bottle a long time ago; and they are still doing it, the same old way, with the same great results.
Its rare to find a company that knows when to leave a perfect design alone, and just keep on making it year after year.
It aint plastic, or cheap, or throw away; but it lasts and lasts.
This is something you will be able to pass on from generation to generation.
We still have a One Gallon jug from the 1940s that is in as great a shape today as it was 60+ years ago. You can't honestly say that about most of the plastic junk that was made in the last 10 years !!!
Stanley "goes against the grain" and offers replacement parts (if you ever need them). They actually have parts for the jug we have from the 40s.
Too bad Stanleys competitors from the past didn't see the big picture, and went to making junk that gets thrown away when it wears out after a year or so. Of course their competitors make a lot more money on repeat sales. So why doesnt Stanley do that??? Maybe it's because they value their customers; or maybe they just want to give you honest value for you money.
You can pay more; but you won't get a better product. It's that simple.
