Description of Spyderco C66PBK3 Centofante III Knife

The Centofante III is thin profiled and has a lightweight FRN handle. It has two channels that are furrowed out of the handle for better grip. The VG-10 blade has both a hollow-grind and wedge-grind with non-sharpened spine serrations. It also has a black steel pocket clip positions for tip-up/down, right-hand carry.
Frank Centofante is well known in the custom knife industry, a celebrated veteran knifemaker, past president of the Knifemaker's Guild, and respected voice in the cutlery community. Innovative knife company Spyderco has collaborated with Centofante several times, with this model being the latest result.

The Centofante 3 offers a sleek profile with lightweight fiberglass reinforced nylon (FRN) handle. Two channels are furrowed into the handle for improved grip, and an eye-catching palladium silver Spyderco bug is inlayed into the handle's surface. For convenience and improved security, the back-lock is positioned at the midpoint of the blade's spine, with a clever David Boye dent cut from the locking lever. The razor sharp VG-10 steel blade has both a hollow grind and Swede grind for versatile use, and -- when it's time to be on the move -- a black steel pocket clip offers a variety of carrying configurations.

Sports reviews of Spyderco C66PBK3 Centofante III Knife

Customer Review: Beautiful Knife!
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I am very pleased with the Spyderco Centofante 3. The knife is so beautiful that I never want to use it, even though I bought it for EDC. The knife is everything good I heard about it, extremely sharp, stylish, and light. Just to list something bad about it, I will say that for someone like me with small hands it is hard to open and especially to close the knife. The belt clip paint comes off very quickly, as well. The first time I took the knife off my belt it removed paint. Overall, it is a amazing knife that I'm very happy with. Looking for a EDC knife, BUY THIS KNIFE!!!

Customer Review: GREAT FOLDER FOR BUSINESS DRESS
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

THIS HAS BEEN MY EDC KNIFE FOR TWO MONTHS. I AM IN AN OFFICE ENVIORMENT THAT MAKES A SHIRT AND TIE MANDATORY. THE KNIFE SLIPS INTO A PAIR OF DRESS SLACKS WITH NO PROBLEM AND CARRIES WELL THERE. DOES EDC TASK VERY WELL AND WOULD SERVE FOR SELF DEFENCE IN A PINCH. THOUGH I AM LEFT-HANDED I DO NOT FEEL THE LIMITED CLIP OPTIONS HINDER ME AT ALL. GOOD STEEL, EASY TO RESHARPEN, LIGHT WEIGHT,WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE

Customer Review: Lightweight, classy tactical folder
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

This knife is lightweight, easy opening, very sharp, good blade material, no 'blade play' (no up/down or side 2 side wobble), very easy to carry. It's not a heavy-duty tactical knife that you could drive thru a wooden door, but it's more that strong enough for anything that a knife is supposed to do. That's what i like about it. Good looking gent's folder/ everyday carry.

Customer Review: Great Pocket Knife
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I admit that this knife may not be a strong tool if you going to use a knife to pry something but a knife is not to be used for prying. However, this knife is a hollow ground and very sharp, it shaves almost like a razor, so if you need to cut something that not very hard, this knife will make quick work of the job.

Customer Review: Quality And Quantity
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

This knife is everything I expected and more. High grade steel, locks up tight, centered correctly. This knife is one of the best edc knives I have bought, and in a pinch could be used as a light tactical knife. The value is unsurpassed in the knife world ($46)! I will definetly be ordering another Spyderco.
