Description of Spring Swings Fun Ride Original Zip Line

Glide back and forth along the cable like an Olympic athlete or a soaring bird in flight! Fun Ride is the perfect birthday, holiday, or anytime gift for that special someone! Simply attach the cable between two trees or other supports, grab the trolley handles and you're on your way for the best Fun Ride of all! Fun Ride will provide hours of outdoor fun! Recommended for ages 5 and up with weight of less than 100 pounds.
Do you have children with Olympic aspirations? With the Fun Ride Classic Zip Line, your kids can fly through the air with the greatest of ease--for 35 exhilarating feet, at least. The steel stranded cable and all-weather, impact-resistant plastic trolley will help them build strength and self-esteem while they're having a ball, riding the Zip Line between trees or poles in your backyard. Parents may well want to get in on the action, but the trolley is only safe for those under 100 pounds. All required parts, hardware, and instructions for simple assembly are included. --Rachel Radway

Customer Review: Great Ride
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

Great product. This is my second one . The first was the shorter version and older grandchildren requested a longer run. They love the longer one.

Customer Review: The Best

This is the kinda toy I want. It will be on my wish list, even though i'm most likely to old to use it. I need it in my town!

Customer Review: Use it every day

We are enjoying the item. Our little girl is 6 and has quite a lot of energy. It took a bit of adjusting to get the wire just right, and as far as mounting both ends evenly, that did not work. We raised the one side about 3 feet higher than the other end and now she zips down hill quite nicely. She hops off the end which is only about a 5 inch drop and runs it back to the other tree to do it again. We did have to get creative on how to reach the starting height, so we put the old picnic table there and she just climbs right up and goes. We also modified it by adding a seat for her to use when she wants to just sit and zip. This enables her to be on it without us. Whew

Customer Review: Hard to set up
Sport shop rating: 4 Stars

We bought this, and althought it's a great toy, it is NOT easy to set up properly. Assembling the trolly bar and stringing the cable wire was a bit tricky, but could be done (although we had to make a trip to Home Depot to buy the nuts and washers that were left out package by mistake). But the problem was that you simply can't get the wire tight enough to make it go well. If it's not tight enough (taut), then the ride sags when the child gets on, and it won't "go." We tried pulling and pulling, and are going to try to locate and borrow an electric winch to pull it tight enough so it will work. Shouldn't be this hard to install . . .

Customer Review: Great fun.

My two kids love this thing. We have had it for a month now and they use it everyday. After a month the line was starting to slack and when I tightened the nut on the u shaped cable lock the stud broke. I was using a cordless screwdriver at the time and didn't think the thing would break it.

Better quality materials would be nice.
