Fun Ride having been one of my children's activities many years ago, I was inspired recently when I saw one in a yard along the street. The briefest of searches took me to a great deal through Amazon, and I bought two for my grandchildren. I found reviews from people who had trouble installing it to be pathetic; I'll bet they don't even know how to start a lawn mower. I also howled at the preposterous safety regulations which cover pages of small type; our old Fun Ride ran from tree to tree over the deep ravine which has since been filled to make our driveway. the children used to carry rocks between their feet and bomb targets in the hole. No one was ever hurt playing the Fun Ride as hard as they could push it and themselves. My grandchildren push it and themselves just as hard. I bought a 100' length of heavier cable with clamps to extend the distance beyond the modest but reasonally adequate one supplied. Our old Fun Ride did eventually break, I can't imagine how, but it was not when a child was on it. Timeless fun.Customer Review: fun for kids

This is a great toy for kids. Unfortunately, it's only strong enough to hold about 100 lbs, so adults will have to sit this one out. If you're looking for a good zip line, this is it, unless you have adults that want to ride. If you're an adult and this looks like something fun for you, you might want to go for another option.
Setup is fairly easy. Most people will be able to do it without much trouble, although it might take a little longer than expected. The toughest part, in my opinion, was getting the line tight. We have only used this a few times and it looks like this is something we're going to have to look at next season. Seems a bit looser than when we set it up. Not sure if that's how they all are or if it was my installation.
Regardless, it's a fun toy.

I look for toys that encourage out door play, creativity, and use of imagination. This toy fits that bill perfectly. This is such a fun toy. Kids in the neighborhood come over and beg my kids to play with this toy. This took some time to set up but it wasn't difficult. It has been well used by my three children and by all their friends.
One comment. I wish I had bought the next step up since it can hold more weight. My son is 9 and is not a hefty child and it is a bit too light for him. We will be looking at buying the next one up for him because this toy is so well loved.
Well worth the money.

I bought this toy 5 years ago and my children and their friends still go to it first in the backyard . It's fun,fast and safe and great exercise too. Ours has been through the wringer with 5 children and friends and other than replacing the pulleys after 4 years and tightening the cable it has withstood the elements. I would definitely buy this again.Customer Review: Great Fun!

This turned out to be a great toy. We purchased it as a birthday gift for our 7 year old and no one was dissapointed. Great price and easy to set up...it was so easy we actually did it during the night using the light from our lawn mower!!!! If that's not simple, then I don't know what is:)
