I bought this for my mother's backyard for my niece (6). She desperately wanted one. The upshot is, EVERYONE loved it. Now everyone from my two-year-old daughter to six-grade tutoring students wait in line to take their turns at the zip line. I don't know how easy it is to install as my husband did it but it took only a few hours. As a matter of fact, we loved it so much that we installed one in our back yard for my daughter. And yes, my husband (who is not light) rides on it too.Customer Review: fun for everyone

This was something we had been thinking about purchasing for some time - I finally found it for less than other sites and bought-my husband set it up very quickly-we have alot of good trees in our backyard and kids love it and even the kids in the neighborhood love it. While I am sure that this product will be a huge hit in our household, we have yet to assemble it. I was not aware that depending on the size of your tree, you may have to buy an additional strap extension for another $11. So, as a word of warning, you'll need to measure your tree first before you order the product. Be prepared to pay more.Customer Review: Great toy. Great fun For superhero party

I found this easy to put together and fun for the entire neighborhood.
We did use an old garden to tie to the tree. We actually double up the garden hose and have had no issue with scarring on our magnolia.
Only suggestion is to make sure the Turn buckles to tighten the cables are all the way extended so you tighten easily.

This is a wonderful product. You just need someone who is handy with tools to set it up. We have a fairly large yard with several big trees so we ran two "runs" one from the tree house to a platform on a tree and then back again. The kids love and I have to admit, I've taken a ride or two.
