Description of Sportube Series 2 Double Travel Ski Case
High density polyethylene plastic protects TWO pair of Alpine, shaped or powder skis poles, or FOUR pairs of Nordic skis and poles. It is designed to be lightweight while being strong and durable. Wheels make your sports gear easy to handle -- just pull it along with you like a suitcase Wire Case Pin included. Sportube can be locked with the Sportube TSA Airline approved lock for added security for shipping or airline related travel. About Sportube
Situated high in the Rocky Mountain ski town of Vail, Colorado, Highland Trading Co. Inc. has been a distributor of ski travel cases since 1991. With the airlines charging for every bag, doubling up our skis saved us $50 (but, of course, cost us $140, so the direct payback is yet to come.) But the SporTube probably more than paid for itself the first time we used it, as there was a big dent in the case when we got to baggage claim. Evidently the airline had dropped something big on it and dented it. I could push the dent out, but it clearly would have damaged the skis, and the SporTube protected them.Customer Review: Great way to transport snow skis

I bought the Sport Tube Double Ski Case to transport two sets of skis. It works very well with the airlines and it is under their 50 pound limit (with 2 pair of skis and poles) so you don't have to worry about incurring additional charges. I have flown on 4 flights with it and it is showing very little wear. I would suggest the optional handle. This does make it easier to pull on long walks to the parking garage.Customer Review: Useful travel tool for Skis!

Probably the best thing about this over soft case ski bags is the sturdy construction combined with the stable wheels at the back. This allows the unit to be very easily towed along - I just wish that for the money they also included the handle that you have to buy separately. Holds two sets of skis comfortably and with some thought you can pack clothes etc in some of the void spaces.Customer Review: SporTube works as advertised

I purchased two of the double units for a recent ski trip to Utah. The cases were easy to set up, they protected the equipment, were easy (as easy as two sets of skis, poles and some clothing could be) to get through the airport, and they held up very well to baggage handling punishment. This is just the greatest product. When I am not carrying two pairs of skis I wrap two pair of parkas and ski pants around the skis and free of luggage space in my bag. There is absolutely nothing not perfect about this product other than that they charge you extra for a pull handle which is essential.
