We loaded the SporTube up with five pairs of cross country skis, and they all fit fine. However, on a return flight from a race event, the tube arrived at the airport's luggage pick-up area with the top half tube separated from the bottom. The connector pin was gone. The SporTube needs improvement when it comes to how it connects and locks the top to the bottom.
