Description of Sportube Series 1 Single Travel Ski Case
All Sportube cases are blow molded from high density polyethylene, which while being strong & durable is very ightweight. Each case is designed to protect valuable winter sports equipment from the abuses of airline check-in or shipping by UPS or fedex. The hard palstic shell offers superior protection over a soft bag and creates a shield around the equipment protecting its contents better than a nylon bag. The hard shell plastic doesn't tear and is resilient to dings and bangs. There are no buckles, zips or permanently attached straps to get ripped, torn or broken. Therefore, it will hold up better and last much longer than a soft bag. Some airlines will only take liability for skis and boards packed in a hard case, soft bags may require a signed liability release. All Sportube cases are fitted with heavy duty rubber wheels making for an easy jouney from the car to check-in or car to hotel. Sportube cases are now bigger than ever. Our design and size has changed to meet recent changes in ski design and the Sportube now fits all ski/binding systems. Pulling the sportube through the airport or parking lot is now easier than ever thanks to the addition of the Easy Pull attachment point and the Easy pull Handle. Sportube case are supplied with a non locking TSA compliant wire case pin, however they can be locked for overseas travel or when shipping to the resort. You can't get much in this container besides skis and poles (perhaps socks, gloves, hats, and other small clothing items), but it does protect your equipment well. Also, it's too bulky to fit through the pass-through opening present in some rear seats. You'll have to either take your skis/poles out of the container to fit through the pass-through (and then re-package them in the carrier when you get to the airport) or fold down the rear seat to accommodate the carrier. So, if you don't have a split fold-down rear seat in your vehicle and have more than 3-4 people in your car it will be difficult to get this carrier in your vehicle.Customer Review: Put's your worries aside

The SporTube does what it claims. Clamps your skis and poles inside quite nicely. Long handle lets you find perfect balance spot when carried. Rolls well if not a little long as it trails behind you! How else can you keep the Airlines from wrecking your precious ski stuff and banging up your edges? The length adjust lock clip a little hard to install and it should be permanently tied to the Tube so it doesn't 'vanish'. Otherwise, it's great.Customer Review: watch the locks!!

I bought this product and like it. It has taken some real beatings from the looks of the dents on it, but the skiis were not damaged in the least. It is also easy to move around in the airport.
