Sports reviews of Sportline 310 Qlip Any-Wear PedometerCustomer Review: Inaccurate Sport shop rating: 2 Stars
Wanted to test the accuracy so I first drove the distance and than I ran the distance. By driving it was 3 miles and after running, the pedometer said 1.6. If you really want something that will be at least close to the distance you run/walk, I would not recommend this product.
Customer Review: Not that easy to use Sport shop rating: 2 Stars
The device is good looking, but is not so easy to use. Too many many options for a small display.
Customer Review: Disappointed Sport shop rating: 1 Stars
I bought the Sportline 310 pedometer yesterday. I was originally looking for a watch that could track distance while running, but I could not afford the $250 Garmin watch. I asked the sales person what my options were, and she pointed me to the pedometers. It appeared that this pedometer would be able to track distance while running, seeing as how the package has people running on it. However, this was not the case.
I ran my usual loop around my apartment complex, which I've always guessed to be a bit over 1.25 miles (takes me over 10 min. to finish even if I'm going at a fairly swift pace). Anyway, once I got to the end of the loop, it said I had only run about .68 mile. Needless to say, disappointed was I. Even when I walked the distance, it did not appear to be a full mile. I did follow the directions and wear it close to my body in a vertical position.
The Sportline 310 simply is not accurate, nor a good product period for anyone serious about fitness. Hopefully, people will read these product reviews before purchasing this feckless item.
Customer Review: Great for counting steps in an airconditioned rocking chair Sport shop rating: 1 Stars
I bought this pedometer for its small size and because it was sold at REI. It worked fine when I was wearing it just for fun, as I walked around the house, walked for no more than 5 minutes at a time in the arid West. Today I am in Washington, DC - a humid summer day -- and the gadget's screen died. I assume it is because of the "sweat" that hit the pedometer from being attached to my shirt. I didnt go for a run, or a swim -- just a heavy walk in which I did sweat a little -- but no more than a little typical on a summer day. This makes this pedometer useless for any kind of real fitness, only useful as a curiousity of "how many steps did I take when I walked around the house today?" Not versatile at all.
Customer Review: Not worth walking about Sport shop rating: 1 Stars
I thought this pedometer was going to be wonderful on keeping how many steps I take a day. Why I purchased this item was they said it was accurate but what I found is that you can hook the pedometer on your clothing and suddenly you have already walked 10 steps with out moving. I would not recommend to buy this pedometer.
