This is a much more substantial toy than I thought it would be. It has a nice weight and a quality finish. It unfolds and snaps together very easily. The legs did not go together when put in the wrong direction. The rubber stoppers on the legs keep the Bean Bag Board from slipping. Tossing the bags does not knock over the board. One last positive is that the bean bags are lightweight - which is useful with little children who may use their bean bags as projectiles at some object (person) other than the intended target.
I did find the score keeping on the side of the board to be pretty useless. I don't know why the holes would be numbered 5-10-15 instead of 1-2-3. It doesn't make a bit of difference in the effect of the score, only to make it more difficult for the little children, although I suppose counting by fives is a useful skill. In our house, it meant the 2YO and 3YO could not play the game and keep track on their own. (See above flying projectiles.)
We so often complain about the absence of directions that I thought it was worth while to point out that in this case, the directions were a bit overdone... For instance, "Each round consists of one person, (either Player 1 or Player 1/Team 1) tossing bean bags." I suppose technical writers need work, too. And seriously, measuring out 18 feet? These slight flaws were only funny, not a serious problem.
I have seen these in stores, on endcaps, but they are always so lightweight and cheaply made, that I have never even been tempted. This is not one of those games at all. This is a good weight and an easy to set up toy. The children had fun. The teenager tried to figure out some way to ruin other people's throws. So, in conclusion, appropriate for all age groups
