I purchased this kick board mainly for working on my leg strength while doing flipper training in my pool. I was tired of holding onto the hard pool edge, not to mention I was bored by having to swim/kick in one place. While I was deciding which board to purchase, I decided I really liked the design and available color choices of this particular kick board. As I have always been very pleased with the Speedo line of products, my decision was finally made to give this kick board a try. I am pleased to recommend this kick board and have enjoyed adding this item to my daily pool fitness workouts.
First thoughts with product and after 1st use:
* Quality feel and materials. Attractive design
* Good color choice available which coordinate with other Speedo products
* Extremely comfortable to use and hold onto
* Excellent design, glides through the water
* Good buoyancy and VERY light weight
After using this kick board, I am very pleased. I was able to relax my upper body in a fixed line and focus strictly on my form and leg work while wearing my FINIS Zoomers Fins. This is one of those products I now consider essential for my workouts. Even the kids had a blast swimming around the pool with more confidence. This board is also very lightweight and easy to carry around. The unique shape is also less bulky and allows for easier storage.
If you are looking for a fun way to exercise, cross-train during these hot summer months, or really focus on leg workouts, this board is a good investment. Speedo has lived up to their good name in this well designed and very attractive kick board. Highly recommended. NOTE: I will add to this review in the fall, with an update on how this board holds up to daily use throughout this summer.
