Sports reviews of Spalding 63249 Official Size NBA Street BasketballCustomer Review: Great balls Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
The basketball is good in many ways, good grip, great price, great bounce, great size, and great overall feel. The basketball is really good, bounces really well.
Don't pass up this ball!
The only bad thing is that the ball I received did not look like the picture, it does not have the NBA Commissioner David Stern's signature on it like the picture shows and the descriptions say.
The "street" did not look like the picture, it looks more of a ghetto style print "street"..but for sure the ball is great, but I'm not 100% sure of its legitimacy, maybe its some fake spalding import, let me know what ball you guys got, did your ball live up to the description and picture?
Customer Review: It Is a Good Basketball Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
Designed more for outdoor play, this basketball can also be used indoors. As long as you have a pump and a correct pin, it's easy to air up. Yes, this ball does bounce. That's what basketballs are supposed to do and is one aspect that makes the game challenging. I believe that some who complain about how bouncy the ball is have only played with balls that are partially deflated or some other ball other than a basketball. We've used a couple of these basketballs over the years and have never had an issue with them. Also, Spalding is the Official Basketball of the NBA so most of their basketballs are emblazoned with the NBA logo.
Customer Review: good outdoor ball . . . Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
For an outdoor basketball, grip, durability and balance, are probably the most important considerations. Spalding's `Street' basketball ranks pretty high in those key departments. You get a nice firm grip, the durability of the pebbled finish seems to be pretty good, and you get a nice bounce on various types of hardcourts. The grip may not be as good as Spalding's NBA `Legacy' ball, but it is very close. Like many outdoor type balls, it may feel a little heavy on an indoor court. It's reasonably priced, so if you need an outdoor ball, you really can't go wrong with this one.
Customer Review: Great ball for my new court.... Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I recently got an inground pole and backboard and this ballis great on my driveway. I think it is pretty durable and holds air very well. I do not have to fill it every couple of weeks like another one my son had. Also, it is round. I know this sounds funny, but I have seen some that when you spin them up in the air, they wobble a bit. This one does not. I wish I could say I make more baskets with it, but that is a user issue. :-) I can tell you that the grip is pretty good, and I can easily palm this ball. Some balls get too slippery when you get sweaty.
Customer Review: Good ball for cheap! Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I went to the park to experiment this ball and surprisingly its actually good for all three stages (performance, advance performance, maximum performance, and professional game ball). Although I bought the performance ball, but after shooting and dribbling the ball for an hour or so, I felt like the ball could reach up to maximum performance level due to the skill level I have acquired. Once you get use to playing with the ball, you will realize it full maximum capability. Great price for the ball.
