I purchased these boots after going through a recent snow/ice storm and realizing that i had no appropriate winter shoes. We recently had another storm with 4 inches of snow over 2 inches of ice and they worked great. The rubber soles are great for gripping the ice (not full proof though) and they kept my feet dry and super warm. I would highly recommend these boots for anyone who needs a good winter boot in areas with light snow and ice. These probably wouldnt be good for deeper snow in areas like North Dakota and such...
