This Red, White & Blue version comes with 20 Ultra Bright White LEDs, 4 Red LEDs for night vision and 4 Blue LEDs for low light viewing. This allows you to never second guess which mode you are turning on so to never lose your natural night vision. This flashlight is small-only about 6 inches long. It offers a bright light great for taking walks at night and for general use when traveling, etc. You will not be able to use it for any "big" flashlight purpose, however, as many reviews seem to hint. One night we heard something fall on a section of the roof. We grabbed this and ran outside to take a peek. Nope. Had to go in for the BIG light!Customer Review: Good Flashlight

I purchased this flashlight as a gift for my father-in-law (an avid hunter) and decided to get one for myself as well. I'm a big fan of the different colors this flashlight uses - especially the red for preserving night vision. I don't know how well the blue picks up a blood trail, but it's worth a shot as the red and traditional LED displays do a fine job for a camping flashlight.Customer Review: Nice multi color light

I've been using this flashlight for about 12 months and I'm still happy with it. It's well made and I would guess that it will pretty much last forever. For me, the main benefit was having the option of the red and blue lights. I do think that it could be brighter in the white LED mode but still works good at close range. this flashlight is a bit pricey compared to other, but compared to other i have had it does feel very sturdy, good quality machining, and produces plenty of light, not blinding, but very sufficient with a good battery life.
the only thin i would want to add is a dimmer button, but otherwise it is a very good purchase.

We got this for my husband for Christmas. He liked it very much and said the colored lighting is brighter than his old one. He hunts and traps just about everything imaginable so it will get used often. Of course, we haven't had it long enough to comment on its durability yet.
