This Red, White & Blue version comes with 20 Ultra Bright White LEDs, 4 Red LEDs for night vision and 4 Blue LEDs for low light viewing. The "RBW" features the latest MSAT system which allows the white LEDs to operate on one switch while the red and blue modes are activated on a separate switch. This allows you to never second guess which mode you are turning on so to never lose your natural night vision. The flashlight also includes 3 AAA batteries and a deluxe holster with a spare battery holder. I was looking for an LED flashlight that was a bit bigger than those little ten dollar throw-aways you see at Home Depot, but not quite one of those full on tactical flashlights that run for $100 or more. This flashlight is bright enough for anything you would need it for, small enough to fit in a bag or on a belt, and lasts for hours. I liked the options of the colored LED's, although realistically I don't use them very often. Basically, this flashlight does everything I want it to, the construction is top notch, and it's cheap. Performs as advertised. I keep it on a table next to our bed. The separate ON/OFF switch for the red LED is great when you want to find something without ruining your night vision.
It lights up a large part of the room in the white LED mode. For outdoor use,I have a large 6 volt flashlight where distance is an issue. In summary. it is an ideal light for the interior of your home or as a handy light to carry for use in the car or airplane.
The carrying case is well designed with a pouch for extra batteries.

I read the reviews on this before I bought mine. One person said they had a problem with the switch. I have had no such problems with either switch on mine. The 4 red leds are great for night vision and the blue works well also. The light is bright and everyone I have shown it too was impressed with it too. The 18 main leds produce a good amount of light and I use the flashlight often. The carrying pouch is handy also and has a place at the bottom for 3 AAA spare batteries. I bought this flashlight being an ophthalmologist who was looking for a strong blue and red light device for some retinal diseases. I was affraidnthat light was not as strong as I needed but to my surprise it was. I am very pleased with this flashlight and for medical purposes like those I needed is suitable. I've been a big fan of multi-LED flashlights since my first 9-LED Innova one a few years ago - this is probably my 6th or 7th and, so far, it's my all-time favorite - puts out tons of light on white and the red and blue LEDs are great for when working at my customers' homes in a darkened room and need to take a quick peek at a manual or remote but don't want to lose my night vision.
