This Red, White & Blue version comes with 20 Ultra Bright White LEDs, 4 Red LEDs for night vision and 4 Blue LEDs for low light viewing. I bought two of these LED flashlights, one for each car. After a frustrating time trying to read poorly lit streetsigns and house addresses while going to a couple of Christmas parties last year, I finally decided to bite-the-bullet and invest in quality flashlights. This model flashlight does not disappoint. The white light is brilliant; however, unlike many other LED flashlights you cannot focus/adjust the beam. The light beam seems narrow enough though where you'd have no problem reading street signs. The red/blue light is good for in-car use while reading maps and directions with minimum distraction to the driver. The light came with a quality carrying case that can be strapped to your belt if you want to carry it around for a night walk. The case can also hold 3 spare AAA batteries. An excellent, well-made quality product that I highly recommend.Customer Review: Great light

This light gives off a great amount of light for 3 AAA batteries although the beam is not very concentrated. I use the red light all the time for finding something in the tent without blinding yourself although I wish it didn't cycle through the blue lights as well (There are 2 switches - one switch turns the white lights off & on; the other switch cycles through RED > BLUE > OFF again.) The only other small complaint is that when you put the light in the case and snap the case shut it is easy to hit the button and turn the light back on. The light needs to be twisted so the case button doesn't align with the switch - not a big deal. The case also has a little pouch to store 3 additional AAA batteries - very handy.
Otherwise I highly recommend it as it is one of the best I've used - a tough, bright light for a reasonable price.

As a pilot who flies a lot of odd hours I need a reliable flashlight with lots of lumens and rugged dependability. This fits the bill in so many ways: very bright white LEDs (helps a lot when having to do a nighttime aircraft preflight) rugged serrated handle, nice nylon case, 3 AAA batteries, even a nice little storage compartment on the side of the case for extra batteries. To top it off there is the blue and red light option (using fewer LEDs so the light is appropriately subdued for night vision in the cockpit or anywhere you want some discrete night light).
The flashlight is a bit pricey at $30 but worth every penny.

This flashlight is well constructed, good smallish size and feels solid and comfortable.The 20 white LEDs provide good lighting, better than most incandescent flashlights , but of course cannot compete with the 3 Watt LEDs of some flashlights but which cost more. It is good value for money.
The 4 red and 4 blue LEDs are useful e.g. map reading or when limited light is needed and you want to conserve batteries. I find I frequently switch the red/blue light on by accident instead of the white LEDS as their switch falls naturally under my thumb, but this is no big deal. The holster feels comfortable.

I bought this light for work where I constantly find myself in dark closets and machine rooms. This flashlight has been a great addition to my tool belt. The 20 white led's give enough illumination to compete with any other light of its size. The red and blue light function is a nice addition however in my work conditions I doubt it has much use; but they are a great addition especially since they are on a seperate switch. The light feels great in your hand and very durable. When looking for a light don't over look this flashlight, especially when it comes to the pricetag.
