We love this flashlight and after owning it for 15 months and using it infrequently, it went out. My husband thought it could have even been dropped by one of the little ones visiting our house. Since we were not sure why it was not working properly, I called the manufacturer to ask some questions, hoping we could get it working again. Way above our expectations, they gave us the number of the company that makes these for Smith & Wesson and I phoned them, a live person answered the phone (that in and of itself is so amazing) and no questions asked (although I volunteered the information) she asked me to send the flashlight in, if they cannot get it working, they will replace it! Who does things like this any more. This is a quality flashlight, we loved the weight of it and the quality of the LED, and obviously they stand behind their product. If you have any questions about these flashlights, call PowerTech at 866-258-9090. Amazon could not help with manufacturer phone numbers, although the young man tried and tried.
