Customer Review: A Sharp Buy
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I wanted a decent pocket knife with a clip, and didn't want to spend a lot of money. Buck and Gerber are also very nice, but cost more. The allure of "Smith and Wesson" attracted me (very James Bondish). I already had one of their products (a flashlight) and was satisfied with it.
The opening mechanism is just right, and with a little practice, one hand opening is easy. Closing the blade is also easy, unlocking the locking mechanism doesn't risk cutting your fingers like some knives. The blade is sharp enough for me, and the black color of the blade matches the black handle, making for a very neat appearance.
Unless you are a big knife fanatic or collector, i think you will be happy, and the price for a name product is right.
I gave it five stars because it is a neat knife at a great price.

Customer Review: Excellent knife!
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

This was a very good buy for me. It's lightweight and durable. I actually bought it for my brother as a christmas present, but I checked it out first and I was surprised to find that when you open it -when it locks in place there is a plastic piece that blocks the locking mechanism from going too far, so that it doesn't go past the bottom of the blade and get stuck on you. I really like that idea because I have become frustrated with knifes that I've had in the past that have gotten stuck on me and I had to pry it back out so that I could fold the knife back up. Needless to say, those knife flew to the trash. In all this was a very good buy. My brother has had it for over two week and carries it with him everyday. He likes it so much that I think I'm going to buy one as soon as I can get a little extra cash.

Customer Review: Helped me out of a lot of jambs
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

The best story is when I went deer hunting last year, bagged a mule deer, but had lost my skinning knife. I skinned and dressed an entire deer with this knife and it worked very well. I actually purchased this because I was trying to fulfill another order's dollar amount to get free shipping. I was very pleasantly surprised, and this is now my every-day-carry knife. I've reserved my Benchmades for special occasions now so they don't get that beat up. Let me start this off by saying that I own a few Benchmade knives. This is by NO means a knife of that quality. However, I'm giving this a 5 star rating because of it's excellent value for the money. It has fairly decent action (ease of opening/closing), it's extremely sharp, and it seems to be of decent quality.

Customer Review: Great First Knife. probably Great Second or Third Knife as well!
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I reviewed this knife expecting a decent knife of sturdy build for everyday use.

This knife was sharp right when i received it. It punctures heavy duty plastic, cuts paper, and has a useful serrated edge.

The folding portion of the knife was stiff but it broke in quickly and is easily tightened if desired. The tanto edge is excellent for opening boxes and cutting anything in a straight line. I do live in California and I think this knife is a tad too long... but not ridiculous enough to draw attention.

I normally would do a pro/con list but this is a good knife and I see nothing wrong with it as a basic user. Especially not the price

Customer Review: Great Value, Great Knife
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

This a great knife. I have purchased about 4 of these so far for myself and friends. I wont go into all the technical detail since it looks like plenty of other reviewers have, but I love this knife for the value. I bring this backpacking, fishing, boating, and climbing. The reason I love it so much is bc its not one of these ridiculous $60+ knives that you freak out about if you lose. If you are really using your knife you are bound to lose it, or at least I am. I drop things off cliffs, lose them at airport security, and accidentally slip them into rivers and oceans. This knife is perfect for a go-to reliable piece that you wont cry over if you lose bc you can easily buy 2 more at this price.
