I just got the knife, (yes, it is the one in the picture) and it looks nice, feels great in my hand. Very very very little wobble in the blade, Usually knife makers will tighten up the screw where the blade pivots to eliminate that wobble, but S&W did a good job. Not only does it open easily, but also the liner lock makes a reassuring , audible click when it locks. Out of the box, the knife comes sharp, very sharp. It will cut you so be careful with it, however, I like to sharpen my knifes to a very very fine honed blade. I keep them sharp enough to shave with. You'd have a hard time buying a knife coming out of the box that sharp anyways, so my kudos to S&W. Another thing i'd like to point out, the graphics look painted on the blade so as you use it more and more the paint may come off, it just depends on what you're using it for really. The grip on the handle I like, however, if your more serious about buying knives i'm certain there are better grips out there. I have the grip of baby Chuck Norris so it doesn't bother me. The tanto point is nice and sturdy, not chipped, it's a nice angle as well.
Cons:
Painted on graphics
Pros:
Nice grip
Very sharp
Sturdy Liner Lock
Worth the Money
***I just got it so I haven't been able to thoroughly test it's abilities and how durable it is. This is just first impressions****

Customer Review: Amazingly Smooth Opening and Tough Blade
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I rarely review items, but felt I needed to with this one. For ten bucks, I didn't expect much, but this knife is amazing for any price under fifty dollars. It opens so smoothly after a few drops of oil that a slight tap of the thumb almost makes it appear assisted-opening, though it is not (I prefer manual knives, as I don't trust assisted mechanisms that can fail under stress). The blade comes sharp enough to shave my arm with. To get many factory-sharp knives to that point I have to spend several minutes with fine hones and a strop. This one is already straight-razor sharp out of the box. Durability-wise, this thing is tough, too. There is zero wobble in the hinge and lock mechanisms once opened. It is surprisingly light, yet one of the sturdiest folders I have found. I use these blades in my truck and toolbox for utility work, as well as keep one on me at all times as a standard cutting tool for smaller jobs. Value-wise, this is the best knife I have ever seen, dollar-for-dollar, and I have owned several dozen over the years, ranging up to over a hundred dollars a piece. Sure, you might (and I accent the "might") find a tougher blade if you wanted to pay out fifty-plus dollars, but up to that you will not find a better knife. And it's ten bucks, anyway, so what do you have to lose if you don't like it? But I assure you that you won't regret the purchase.

Customer Review: Disappointment
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

This knife in and of itself is not at all disappointing. What is disappointing is that I carry this $10 knife so often that my $200+ Emerson folder does nothing but collect dust(Doh! Money down the drain).

While the Emerson is a slight bit nicer, and the blade a better quality of steel, I have owned one of these for a few years now(recently lost it and bought another) and it has held up extremely well to stress. Keeps an edge for a decent amount of time, is easy to resharpen when it does lose its edge, and I have not had any issues with the lock, nor blade wiggle. While there is a problem with the black anodized handle wearing out somewhat quick, this is a cosmetic problem and when it pertains to a perfectly functional $10 knife, totally negligible. I do understand that other customers have had bad experiences with the same product which tells me that these most likely follow a similar path to Taurus firearms. Which is to say, you may get a good one, or you may get a lemon. However with the particular blade I received, I would have to recommend it. It is sturdy, sharp, and I wouldn't be too heartbroken if I lost it. 5 out of 5.

Customer Review: Solid value
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

This seems like a good knife, especially at the price. I've not been pounding on it with a hammer, or using it to chisel marble, but the constrction seems sound, the blade well mounted and of high quality, the grip easy on the hand, and the mechanism locks positively and well.

Reflecting upon another review, it is possible that a smaller hand might find the thumb-knurl on the small side and difficult to open, for lack of leverage and inadequate purchase. This is only a guess, but may be a matter of consideration for others. As already noted, I find the blade easy to open and the lock mechanism tight and solid.

One other point of approval -- the belt-clip is very solid, tight and well-mounted. Many other manufacturers seem to go cheap on the clip, which makes carrying the knife a problem after a while. The clip loosens up and the knife will easily fall off the belt if one is in an awkward position or brushing past things. This guy looks like it will stay on the belt long after the belt itself has fallen away. This, for me, is another positive.

Customer Review: Solid and dependable...Very cheap
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

Very light, yet decently sturdy. Basically $11 gets you a knife with a pretty decent stainless blade and several cool features. The spring is solid and the black aircraft aluminum handle is just cool. With the drilled holes it just has a very nasty look to it. Incredibly light at less than 3 oz. It comes in a very small box and out of the box it will cut sharp. Has a lanyard hole and pocket clip although the clip seems small. The clip is removable and is secured with three small screws. While this is meant to be a smaller knife it really does not seem like one. Though to be honest this is not a knife engineered to take serious and constant levels of heavy abuse. Nor is it meant for large cutting or chopping jobs. It's a knife for smaller jobs. Every day carry type situations. For that it's a great little general purpose knife.

This thing is an incredibly cheap, sharp, sturdy, functional knife that looks killer from Smith & Wesson for under $11. You will not find a cheaper knife on Amazon that matches this quality. I'm happy with it.
