I bought the slam man a year ago and am so glad that I did. I luv working out with the slam man. You get a great workout that is also fun and very challenging. Just fill it with sand and it is ready to go. (Make sure that you have the vacuum out when you are filling it with sand, which is to be expected.)

The SlamMan's base and torso are made of thick, high-density, reinforced, blow-molded polyethylene that's comparable to the materials you find in the rough and tumble automotive field. The top-quality molded foam striking surface, meanwhile, naturally absorbs blows, with 100 percent memory retention. No matter how many times or how hard he gets hit, the SlamMan will always return to his original shape without wrinkling or splitting.

The SlamMan's training routine is simple: he offers eight illuminated LED targets that light up in various sequences, telling you where to punch. All you have to do is swing away. The SlamMan is also sensitive, with built-in sensors that adjust to your punch strength. Push the sensor down and you'll have to hit harder to activate the lights, creating a more vigorous boxing workout. And when you're ready to cool down, push the sensor the other way.
