This seat doesn't appear to have much gel padding but when you sit on it you realize with gel (unlike foam) you don't need that much to be comfortable. I use this at 49ers games and it makes the hard plastic stadium seats tolerable. It' smaller than the large foam seats and easy to carry around. I bought two and never had any complaints when using them at the game.
