The graphics on the bottle are very pretty and look like they will last. The bottle is sturdy and well made. My only wish is that the top was a little bit larger so that it was easier to clean. It is very easy to drink out of and lighter weight than I expected. All-in-all I am very pleased with this water bottle. When my old plastic reusable bottle disappeared, I decided I'd try one of the Sigg bottles I was seeing everywhere. I liked the size and the smaller opening, and hey, it looks cool, but there were problems I didn't anticipate:
1) I spend a lot of time in sports venues and traveling. Most places, an empty plastic bottle can be carried in and filled at a handy drinking fountain. Not so with a metal bottle. I ended up buying more bottled water.
2) When people said this bottle dented easily, they weren't kidding. This is not a bottle for an active urban lifestyle (by which I mean getting around a city via bike and public trans, going to crowded outdoor venues, dealing with interlocking security doors, etc). I can only imagine it's less useful for serious hikers. Within a few months, the top was difficult to thread and eventually, the seal began to leak. I finally ditched the bottle when I cracked the body of it.
In sum, I got my money's worth out of it, but it didn't perform as well as I believed it would.

The bottle is very attractive and elegantly designed. However, I have two criticisms of it. First, while it might not matter to most people, the opening is not large enough to drop a standard size half-moon ice cube in. I use mine with chilled water and it does maintain temperature well enough, but I would prefer to add a few cubes. Secondly, I accidentally knocked my bottle lightly against a trash container at my gym and was surprised that it dented so easily. I have dropped my Nalgene bottle many times and it always survives. The Sigg makes a better pretty addition to a bookcase than a practical bottle for daily use.Customer Review: Lovely but...

Beautiful looking but with 2 features that are annoying to me. First is that you can't throw them in the dishwasher. Okay, not a deal breaker there (even though I've had to tell the kids to put nothing but water in theirs). But they do warn you about that, so really no valid complaint on my side.
BUT second, the opening isn't big enough for ice cubes. Not even the smaller sized ones that most fridge ice-makers produce. Not to criticize the design geniuses at Sigg, but I would have thought a wider mouth wouldn't have hurt the integrity of the bottle.
