I have been trying to go greener with my lifestyle so it was a no-brainer to switch to reuseable rather than plastic bottles. I chose the Sigg bottles since they were aluminum vs plastic and thus lowered my depenence on petrolium.
I love the designs I can choose from. I purchased the Gorilla bottle for my 'grape ape' of a husband.
Sigg bottles tend to keep my water cooler for longer, but when the bottle itself heats up, the water gets warm. Although this is common with any bottle, I just don't like warm water. I hope to try the cooler pouches/neoprene sacs.
Unlike plastic bottles you cannot freeze these, and the opening are a bit small to put ice in them, but they are bigger than your standard plastic water bottle.
These are lightweight, and with the additional strap are perfect for vacations (although they are listed as child straps, they work for adults, even my over 6' tall husband).
They come in multiple sizes. I found that the child bottle was perfect to throw in my purse when I go on my erronds.
I read a lot of reviews on these bottles and: I have no burning problems, I don't store water for more than the day so I don't have foul water issues (for that matter why is someone wanting to store water in these bottles anyway?), I clean it out after use and again no foul water, I have both the screw top and sport top and both are easy to use and are water tight, and even though the lining ingredients are secret...I still think this is better than all the other crap out there (heck, SIGG is a reputable company...and the other non-names bottles are most likely made by child labor in dirty chinese factories).
Yet, I only rate this 4 stars. Although I love this bottle and many other sigg products, I have to give it a star less for the price. These are pricy and in todays world...I am glad I got a gift certificate for Christmas, I couldn't see spending my money on these at the full regular price. Also if you are buying these, shop wisely, calculate shipping and tax and everything, cause it might be cheaper to go to target.

I have Spotted Pride design - which is amazing
***Pros***
1) Deceptively light - I don't think this bottle is any heavier than a plastic bottle.
2) Durable - it has survived being dropped, clanging against the side of a bag, and shoved in all sorts of places without damage to the design - it has under hard use developed a very, very small dent
3) Healthy - no BPA means yay! Well... you get the picture. It's fairly environmentally conscious - and recyclable

1) Opening is very small - cubed ice will not fit
2) Heats up fast
3) Bottle top is beyond abysmal - I love attaching a carabiner to it, but the love ends there. After about a month, mine started leaking if it gets tipped and I have been unsuccessful of finding a replacement locally. They used to be carried at several sporting good stores, but sadly not so frequently around here any more (sigh)

I bought the Samurai Spirit design bottle, and if you look closely at the supplied picture, there are two supplementary designs printed on the bottle that cannot be made out. These are matching, palpable (a rough feeling) tattoo=style designs of a tiger and dragon fighting. Considering these designs are both more noticably colored and equally prominent on the bottle, it surprises me that a picture that shows them is not included here on the website. Also, my bottle had a scuff/indent about the size of a nickel. Normally damaged product would be enough to ask for a replacement, but I am clummsy and will scuff it myself in time.
Thhe sigg bottle is very cool, very light and sturdy feeling, there is no tinny taste to water drunk fom it. I'm happy with it.

I have 4 children, and at the beginning of the school year, I bought a Sigg bottle for each kid. They use only water in them and don't freeze/heat them. Their friends at the lunch table love them too. I will be replacing one son's bottle this week, but only because he slammed it in the car door (accidentally). :) I will be buying another Sigg bottle. These are great, no aftertaste. I keep one in the car, and even after a few days the water tastes fine.
