Sports reviews of Sigg Kids BottleCustomer Review: Super-Fun Personal Accessory, Not Just a Water Bottle Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

This is an upscale designer water bottle, top of the line, and so much fun. The designs Of Sigg's water bottles are gorgeous, from the plain, solid color bottles, to the ones with intricate designs. They are simply beautiful! I switched from regular plastic water bottles because of health concerns, thinking it would take more work to maintain. These do necessitate regular cleaning (I clean mine every day), but having something so beautiful to drink from makes the cleaning fun. Sort of like my rings, glasses, and watch, I now consider my Sigg personal water bottle a vital accessory, reminding me to drink more water, making a statement about my values, and expressing myself with a special design. Yes, all in a water bottle!
Sigg of Switzerland water bottles are very high quality, made of light aluminum on the outside, slightly insulated, and covered with a special powder coat on the inside that prevents any leaching whatsoever, unlike plastic and polycarbonate water bottles. They are light, durable, and perfect for any activity. Well water tastes spectacular in these bottles, just like from the tap.
Sigg bottles come with several different types of tops. I bought the screw top because I don't like sports tops, and I don't mind unscrewing the top when I want a drink. It is totally leakproof, which is important to me. The top is pretty and can be hooked onto a carabiner. I get comments on it all the time, "What's that? I love it!" The sports top version is ok; I just am not a fan, as I don't feel like I can get enough water from the little stream from the sports top. However, for convenience, you might prefer it. For children, there is a cap-type top. All are leak-proof. If you are ever unsatisfied with the top, you can buy a screw top separately to fit your Sigg bottle.
Sigg makes their personal water bottle in .6L and 1L in this style. I have both. I use the .6L for sports activities because they are smaller. When I won't have to carry the container, I like the larger bottle. Sigg also makes a smaller .3L bottle for children that is a perfect size for young people. You can buy Siggs in alternative sizes too, such as .75L, .4L (for kids), .6L, .5L. You can occasionally find this bottle in the 1.5L size, also. Search Amazon for the perfect size.
Pick a style and pattern you like, as this bottle is a personal accessory, and should reflect your style. The colors are vibrant and even prettier than they seem in the pictures on Amazon.
They are expensive, but they are so durable that you can plan on them lasting many years. I consider them both an accessory and an investment in my health, so they are well worth it value-wise for me.
Highly recommended.

Customer Review: I like the Sport Top Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
The .6 liter bottle fits in my cars cup holders. I had heard and read enough complaints about the Sigg Sport Top that I put off buying one to look for something better. What a waste of time. The sport top is fine. With only a few minutes of fiddling around with the bottle I can do the entire process with one hand. I just flip up the cap, twist with one finger, hold it down with that same finger and I drink. I can't imagine using my lips or teeth to hold it down. Water does not come out in a huge flow and yes, you have to suck. All of the plastic bottles we have around the house require sucking so I don't see what the big deal is. If I want to gulp water down all I have to do is twist off the entire cap and drink. I love the contour of all Sigg bottle openings for just this type of drinking.
I don't think young children would do well with this top but Sigg makes a special top for the kids water bottles that is more traditional (twist once and it is open, no pressure needed) and my daughter uses it and loves it. Final thought: With one more twist of the cap it comes apart for cleaning.
Customer Review: Easy to use, great design Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
We love these bottles for many reasons: 1) they are environmentally friendly and made in Switzerland 2) they are easy for my toddler to use 3)they keep water at a good temperature and there is never any funny taste 4) they seem to last forever (we've had the first one we purchased in Switzerland for about 6 years now and it's still in extremely good condition) 5) no concerns about chemicals and plastic 6)this particular 'sport' style is very easy to use with one hand ***** I did recently buy the SIGG brush kit and it works really well, but I don't know that it's any better than just putting the bottles in the dishwasher
Customer Review: I <3 my sigg Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I love my Sigg water bottle!
(1) It's really light when water isn't in it
(2) Theres no funny smell in it, like I used to have from my designer plastic water bottle
(3) Its the perfect size for my purse, but I am purchasing a larger one for school, working out, ect.
(4) I feel so much better knowing that I am not risking my health. Yes, maybe years from now they will find out that there is something wrong with Sigg bottles too, but for now it is THE best and SAFEST storage for your water, liquids, ect.
Customer Review: Sport top vs. loop top Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
Having used both tops, I think the sport top is the way to go. Why? It's more flexible. Use your thumb to press down on the release to allow sucking the drink from the bottle. That allows one-handed drinking from, say, a bike. Or, if you need to guzzle a lot of water, uncrew the sport top as you would with the loop top. With the sport top, it's easier to screw and unscrew because there's more for your hand to work with, IMO. Hope that helps.
