Sports reviews of Sevylor Fish Master 325 Inflatable Boat with 2 SeatsCustomer Review: Great boat for motorhome Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
After a motorhome trip to Alaska and not being able to get out on all those great lakes I went looking for a boat solution, and I found it in the Fish Master 325.
I use it with a large marine battery, a 30 lb. thrust electric motor, motor mount, oars, and a battery operated air pump. This all fits in one of my cargo compartments.
I have had it for 2 years now and used it at least 20 times on lakes in Colorado and Arizona. It is very stable with 2 adults and one 8 yr. old grandchild on board. The wood slats in the bottom give it a more solid feel. I can operate for about 4 hours with the battery.
I like the 2 air chambers that it has for safety, and air tight check valves for filling it with air. When you use it on a cold water lake it will get a little soft, however, with the air fill check valves I attach my battery operated air pump and add air while I am on the water. When it is setting on top of my car the sun will heat the air inside and the air pressure builds up so I need to let out some air. This is not the boat's fault just the rule of physics for air expanding when heated. The fabric cover gives it extra durability and a nice look. It's a great fishing boat for anyone with limited storage. I LOVE IT.

About Sevylor In 1948 in Vitry, a small suburb of Paris, France, Berco Grimbert created an electronics company called Societe Electronique de Vitry, or SEVY for short. Soon, a friend of Grimbert's from New York commissioned SEVY to produce high frequency welding machines capable of fusing a new material called PVC (poly vinyl chloride). SEVY's machines worked very well and the American friend developed a very successful business manufacturing swimming pool related products. He then taught SEVY how to work with PVC. One of the first PVC products SEVY produced was inflatable bathtub called Dou Dou. It was an instant hit in postwar France--mothers could bathe their children even where no facilities were available. The media hailed Dou Dou as a significant invention. Soon, SEVY added small pools and flotation devices such as rings, beach balls, and inflatable swim jackets to its product line. Safe, hygienic products, made of PVC and designed for portability, durability and convenience, became the SEVY trademark. The company quickly outgrew its small facilities in Vitry. Mr. Grimbert accepted an attractive offer from the French government to take over a defunct textile factor in the tiny Alsatian village of Buhl. After establishing its new headquarters, the company added the letters "lor" to its name, and became Sevylor. In French, l'or means gold. By coincidence, or possibly fate, Sevylor has proven to be "as good as gold" to its owners, retailers, consumers, and employees.
