Description of Schwinn Roadster 12-Inch Trike (Red)
Retro styled frame with chrome fenders, bell and wood deck. Low center of gravity.Your child will enjoy a classy ride with the red Roadster, Schwinn's retro-modern take on the classic tricycle. It features a full-steel, heavy-duty frame, scalloped chrome fenders for flare, and a real wood back deck for an added passenger. It has wide design for an extra-low center gravity, helping to prevent tip overs. The sculpted seat is adjustable for growing riders. The cool "moustache-style" chrom handlebar features padded grips, long tassels, and a bell. The front wheel measures 12 inches in diameter and the back wheels measure 8 inches in diameter.

I am reviewing this from the standpoint of the transaction as well as the product received only. (It is a Christmas gift for my two year old grandson so I can't go further for his response.)
I was astounded to find that when I ordered it one day, the next day it was at my front door--all with standard free shipping!
I couldn't be more pleased with the trike! It FAR excedes my expectation! Not only was it a snap to assemble, but in addition very well made. A great value!

This trike was a christmas gift for my 2 year old and he loves it. He's still working on learning to pedal, but it is low to the ground so we don't have to worry about it tipping. The seat is adjustable so it will grow with my son. The only complaint I could possibly have and its not even really a complaint is that when mom has to carry it, its kind of heavy. But that is a small price to pay for such an awesome trike. My sons favorite feature.... the bell. Great gift, great buy, great value for the money!Customer Review: This Roadster Rules!

Purchased the Schwinn Roadster Trike for my 3yr old for Xmas. It's his 1st pedal ride-on and he LOVES IT. This is a serious tricycle. A well constructed toy, quality materials and inflatable rubber tires make it almost silent when operated, (no squeaks). The chrome fenders and classic details make this machine stand out from the rest. Also much safer than the higher-sitting trikes, doesn't tip over easy. Well worth the price. I bought this tricycle for my nephew for his first birthday. He is tall and walked early. He loved it. Although he couldn't peddle it, he could get into the seat by himself, ring the bell, and push it with his feet while sitting down. His feet did reach the peddles, and we all think he will be able to peddle it soon. This is a sturdy, heavy tricycle. It was easy to assemble. I purchased this for my Grandson's Christmas present. He will be three this next year and my son told me he really wanted a tricycle. I ordered it through Amazon, using Amazon Prime and was pleasantly surprised when it reached him in California in only a couple of days and this was during the busy Christmas mailing season. I called Christmas day to see if he liked and my son told me his words were, "My first bike, I can't believe I got my first bike!" Obviously, I am delighted.
