Sports reviews of Schwinn Roadster 12-Inch Trike (Red)Customer Review: Great Value! Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
My husband and I bought this trike for our 2 year old daughter for Christmas. We had it all put together and ready for her on Christmas morning...It was the first thing she saw and the only thing she wanted to play with. She loved it. But on top of everything, the bike is really sturdy with a thick metal frame and a real plank of wood step on the back. The tassles are even real leather. This bike is great! The only thing I didn't like as much is the seat, it's plastic. A nice hard plastic but I think I would rather of had a nicer seat.
Customer Review: good deal for a growing kid Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
so...issues has been reported.
this trike is not bad and for the money is just awesome. it won't last forever, but your kid will hopefully grow to not fit on it in a a couple of years.
make sure you use it every week, so you keep the eye on the tire pressure. if you let it flat, the tube will go bad.
in despite of the poor materials, the design is sharp.
our kid still haven't started pedalling but he pushes it all around.
his mamae tried and did well. the trike put up with her 100lbs.
buy it!
Customer Review: Great 1st toddler bike! Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
We bought this bike at a near by Toys R' Us store for our 18 month old son. We are very happy with our purchase. The leather straps on the handles are cute and the bell it comes with works great. Our son loves his bike and is anxious to play with it everyday. The best thing I liked about it was that it doesnt tip over when he is riding it unlike the Radio Flyer bikes. The seat is also easy to adjust and has a handle on the seat to help carry the bike. I would highly recommend! This bike will last him to he is 4 or 5 years old.
Customer Review: Beautiful Trike Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
The Shwinn Roadster looks amazing, it is great quality for the price. It is really unbelievable for the amount of money it cost. Everyone that see it says it is so cool looking. My daughter is 22 months old, she has a little trouble reaching the pedals, we purchased the pedal blocks, which helps. This will be a trike that she can use for a long time and should hold up well. The only concern we have is the tubes, which are apparently always on back order, we will keep our fingers crossed that they don't pop.
Customer Review: Excellent value Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
This tricycle is adorable and well made. It requires very little assembly. The only problem I see is that the seat at its forward-most position is still quite a reach to the pedals for my 2 year old grandson, who is fairly tall for his age. I have considered getting the pedal blocks and they would probably help, but he is very happy with it as is. He just uses his feet on the ground or stretches his toes to pedal. I think it will grow well with him until he moves to a two wheeler. He really loves his "bikasil".
