Retro styled frame with chrome fenders, bell and wood deck. Low center of gravity.Your child will enjoy a classy ride with the red Roadster, Schwinn's retro-modern take on the classic tricycle. It features a full-steel, heavy-duty frame, scalloped chrome fenders for flare, and a real wood back deck for an added passenger. It has wide design for an extra-low center gravity, helping to prevent tip overs. The sculpted seat is adjustable for growing riders. The cool "moustache-style" chrom handlebar features padded grips, long tassels, and a bell. The front wheel measures 12 inches in diameter and the back wheels measure 8 inches in diameter.

My grandson saw and played with this bike at a friend's party and I knew immediately what I was buying him for his 2 year birthday. Amazon had by far the best pricing and free shipping and the box arrived quickly though a little damaged. We carefully inspected the bike for scratches, etc. and amazingly the only one we found was on one of the wrapped portion. I did not have time to send it back so used a little red nail polish and since the scratch sits under the seat you can't see it. It's a beautiful bike, very showy and perfect for someone his age who happens to also be tall for his age. I do not know yet how it will hold up as it was only just given as a gift but everyone was definitely impressed with it on all levels.Customer Review: The Perfect Tricycle...

Well, after getting this yesterday, and putting it together today, I must say this is a wonderful trike. The weight on the trike is substantial, but not too much that my 20 month old girl couldn't move it easily around the room. The assembly was much easier than I thought it would be, and it's very very stable. The only thing was there is a couple small dents in the front fender, but since it's probably going to get several more, it really is a non-issue to me. Now, I know that they say from 1 and 1/2 years, but my 20 month old (who has long legs and is tall for her age) barely reaches the pedals. She's happy using her feet for now. I would wager this will be in this family a long time.

I bought this trike for my 2 1/2 yr old grandson. It is a great looking trike and my grandson was very excited when he saw it. It is very well made and appears to be very sturdy. It is much larger than the Ready To Ride Radio Flyer trike he already had. The rear wheels are set pretty far apart (about 22 inches). That makes the trike more stable and less likely to tip over when making sharp turns of the wheel. Be aware that it is a better "outside" trike rather than for use in the house, because of the wide wheel span. There are smooth metal parts protruding from the center of the wheels and they can mar walls and furniture when riding through the house.Customer Review: Great trike for 3yr. old!

I just bought the roadster trike for my 3 yr. old son for his birthday in July!! My husband put it together in no time at all!! When my son saw that trike, his eyes just lit up like I've never seen before! He got on that bike and just kept riding around and around in the house and then outside. It rides smooth and is easy to steer. It is well made and very sturdy. The colors are so bold and it truly is the best trike I've seen anywhere. I would definetly recommend this to anyone. The only little thing that we noticed right away was that the tires needed air before we put it together. Otherwise, it deserves 5 stars!Customer Review: What a Blast !

Bought the Schwinn Roadster for my very active 2 year old. He has a blast, and uses his energy "constructively" with this trike. The seat adjusts without tools so kids of many sizes can ride. Very well built, up to [...] elsewhere on the internet. Try to even find this at your local Toys-R-us, and you won't find it. This has great reviews everywhere that I looked, it's much more stable than an ordinary tricycle,and is available in several different colors. Does NOT make a lot of noise like the plastic tired "big wheel" type of trikes. We are very happy with this purchase.
