Replaced my husband's rock hard original seat with this and he can now ride daily with me, without having his tailbone feeling bruised & abused. He weighs over 220 lbs & was really having a problem with the small factory seat. This one is 100% better. Also replaced my own factory seat & find this one is much more comfortable. I bought this seat to replace the stock seat on my mountain bike after I herniated a disc in my lower back. It took me all of 5 minutes of adjusting it and riding around a bit to find the perfect height and angle. The installation was a breeze and the comfort is amazing! I got this seat when my old one became like riding a camels hump. I wanted something easy, soft on my aging posterior and easy on the man parts. This seat really fit the bill! Like other reviews, I had to use a pair of pliaers to fit the seat but that took half a second and no effort. It was well worth the time and money! I didn't think any bicycle seat would be comfortable as I am short and have to really put my weight on the seat, but surprisingly enough I work with my exercise bike every nite and so does my husband and we both agree, this seat is comfortable. I just installed this on my bike and it is very soft and does not appear that it will get damaged by getting rain. Its not a huge seat but is wider than the normal seats that come with bikes, which gives you that extra support. It has springs underneath to help with the bumps. Overall..I give this item a 5..no problems so far...easy to install and remove if needed.
