I had been reluctant to purchase a bike computer because, for the type of riding I do, I will probably lose or destroy it eventually. So I didn't want to risk an expensive unit, and I didn't think one at this price would be accurate or consistent. After reading some of the other reviews I decided to give this one a shot, and was pleasantly surprised. If your wheels are true, you should have no trouble mounting it. I've had mine mounted for 3 months now. No problems. Have not had to adjust the mounting. Keeps accurate mileage, consistent with other riders' computers.Customer Review: good stuff right here!!

I can't recall how much I actually paid for it back in April of 2k9 but I think it was a little less, none the less it is well worth it. the only think I wish is that i had a heart monitor but one cant ask for too much for the price.
in the year I have had it, it has been through rain storms, covered in mud, been out in the cold of winter 40 or so degrees, and has not failed me yet on the original battery and I keep it stored in the trunk of my car with my helmet and gloves. I have very happy with it and totally recommend it to anyone, do not hesitate!!

I bought this at Amazon. It took them a while to ship, I guess this is popular so it must have been on back order. Every thing works as described. I would recommend watching how to install videos or check the manual.
I hate manuals which usually written by Geeks. so I had it installed at a cycle shop. He was amazed to learn how much I paid. Compared to the wireless model and other slick looking one with GPS you could buy 100s of this baby and give it free. the amount I paid to have it installed is nothing compared to wireless unit or with GPS

I bought two of these for bicycles owned by my son and I -- a dirt
bike and my ten speed. He's 15, and installed them both in a manner
of minutes and they have worked flawlessly.
He has a 20 inch and mine is a 26 inch. The tire input size worked
great -- we have tracked mileage on similar trips and been very, very
close. I have spent $20-$30 for models from Walmart, this beat them
all. The function keys were very easy to use and logical -- even the
thermometer worked!

I got it today. I installed it in 20 minutes. Remember when you install it to tape the cord up the gear cable with insulation tape so it doesn't hang loose.
The instructions are not great but it is not rocket science to work this unit. $10 for this item is amazing.
The display is large; it has a good looking blue backlight and has all the functions you need including calories and fat burn.
I am not sure if other reviews are correct about the temperature readings being wrong. I look forward to testing that tomorrow.
