If you have to choose to spend $20 on some add-on to your bike choose this.
When installed CORRECTLY (which some people have problems with, just read the manual people!) this is a flawless bike computer. It tracks everything you could care about: distance, current speed, average speed, calories, and fat calories burned, etc. It also has a scan mode which rotates through these modes as you're biking so you can look down and see a lot of the data as it cycles (no pun intended) through it's list.
This let's you bike smarter and with greater access to information corresponding to your overall bike workout. I strongly encourage the purchase of this product.

I am a 67 year old retired guy who knows he must exercise. To keep a good running record we must have a good trip odometer on a bike to have accurate measurements etc. I put this on my bike in about 20 minutes, and took about 15 more minutes to set up the wheel diameter and learn how to get the trip odometer selection and how to zero it. It seems very accurate, and the speedometer also seems quite accurate. I am surprised at the accuracy and low cost. 17 functions is a lot more than I will ever use, but just as with a computer, they make them able to do nearly anything so they can sell the same one to a million different types of users. I read all the reviews and almost did not purchase this product. I am glad that I did purchase it. The computer itself was easy to set up. However the magnet sensor on the wheel was difficult to position correctly. I bought 2, one for my bike and one for my wife's bike. I got the magnet positioned on my wife's bike on the first try. The one on my bike took some fine tuning to work. Once I got the computers on both bikes and working they're great. Riding side by side they read the exact same speed even though the two bikes are completely different with different size tires. The only thing I don't think is accurate is the thermometer but who needs that.Customer Review: 100% Satisfaction

This has to be the best buys I have ever made. Price for price, function for function this speedometer cannot be beat. The only way it would be difficult to install is if you try to put it on your bike without reading the directions, which I assume some of the people who wrote bad reviews did. I am 70 yrs. old and have just got back into riding bikes after 45 yrs. and installed this speedomter on my bike and one on my wifes bike. Total time for both was 25 minutes. And that was because I could not find my glasses to read the directions for about 10 minutes. first let me say, read the instructions. i had purchased one and thought that it didn't work. that's because i thought i could "figure it out." well, i wasted precious time. it is easy to setup and utilize; as long as you KNOW what you're doing. the instructions are simple and clear and the computer itself is wonderful. i've had no problems with it and believe it to be accurate. i saw the same item somewhere else for twice the price. can't beat $10 for a bike computer with so many functions. i encourage you to give it a try. if you think it doesn't work properly, go back and read the instructions again before sending it back. i'm glad that i did.
