Customer Review: WARNING, NOT AS ADVERTISED!!!

The caption for this item is very deceptive. It is NOT the Viral/Microbial filter as pictured and it is also NOT the newer style available for these systems. You will NOT get the handle coverings, the secular drink tube attachment on the clean bag, or the little "window" also on the clean bag as falsely advertised here and which is available elsewhere, and for less to boot!
That said, it is a solid "fair" and will protect you from Microbial contaminants. HOWEVER, you will still have to boil and/or add chemicals to your water (as stated in this product's documentation) to kill the possible Viral contaminants (i.e. from animal/human waste byproducts in the water such as Hepatitis etc. which can very well be present in ANY water at ANY time) and which, in my opinion, completely defeats the point of having just a Microbial water filter at-all in the first place, since boiling kills both.
I believed I was buying the Viral/Microbial and not the standalone Microbial system, due to the incorrect product image. All in all, it is best not to be used unless you cannot boil the water in which case go on ahead and take the risk, better than nothing. As they say folks: "there's one [moron] born every minute!"
