Description of Saris T-RAX Sport Folding 4 Bike Hitch Mount Rack (2-Inch Recevier)
Accommodates 2 to 4 bikes in 1-1/4" and 2" hitch sizes. Adjustable pivoting anti-sways and hold-downs keep bikes stable and secure. QuickTite knobs make the arms easy to fold. Tilting arms with a simple pin removal. Tilting base with HitchTite creates a solid, stable connection between T-RAX and your vehicle.The 500 Sport series redefines the rear mount bike rack yet has the same exacting engineering standards as the regular T-RAX hitch mount carriers. The main difference being the lightweight but robust 2.5-inch platinum-steel frame that makes T-RAX Sport strong and effortless to handle. It has a tongue weight of 300 pounds, with a carrying capacity 140 pounds. The two-inch receiver hitch mount is designed to accommodate up to four bikes of almost any size. The deluxe soft rubber hold-downs and pivoting anti-sways ensure that the rack doesn't make direct contact with the bike frame or car, and is very adjustable so you can virtually eliminate the wobble and pitch.
The ratcheting carrier arms with QuickTite knobs secure your bike in one smooth motion, and make it possible to fold them out of your way when they're not in use. The HitchTite base connects easily to your hitch receiver, and allows the rack to be tilted for rear door access.
