I ordered this because I heard about it on the Fitbit.com boards. A fitbit is a clip on device that helps people keep track of their steps or other forms of exercise, tracks your foods, calories burned and sleep patterns. People were afraid of losing their fitbits while working out. I read the reviews on the leash and thought for the money I couldn't go wrong. Very easy to use. I just slide the fitbit over it, put it in it's pocket holder and hook the leash on my pant waist line or my pocket. It comes with only 1 clasp made of metal...the same type of clasp that held your grandpa's suspenders onto his pants.
I would definitely order this again if I ever had the need. For the price and ease of use it is a keeper for me!

I attach the claw-like clamp to the edge of my pocket of my jeans. The clamp is very similar to clamps used on suspenders. I have never dropped my pedometer since I received this leash. I highly recommend this safety leash.
My only complaint is that I was not aware of the shipping costs until after I had placed the order. However, that is not the fault of the supplier because I had a combined Amazon order and I incorrectly assumed the shipping costs were combined for different items from different suppliers (as it was for books I ordered in the past).
The shipping cost was higher than the price of the leash but even so, this leash is a great value!

I have had a number of pedometers and it seems that every time I get one I like, I lose it. I have lost them in airplanes, shopping malls, stores, and who knows where else. When I bought my last pedometer I decided I would try this little leash and see if I could hang on to this pedometer. So far it is doing it's job. A plastic clip came with my pedometer, but I just went straight to this metal one. So far so good. I just clip it on to my belt, my pocket, or my waistband along with my pedometer, and WA-LA, so far it has worked. Let's hope it continues.Customer Review: Delivers as Promised

Ordered this to inspire me to walk more and that it does and more. The slight pressure on your waist is a constant reminder to take the long way around to get where you are going and to move more. Several times a day the pedometer slips out of it's case and the leash is the catch for it. I discovered that my husband wasn't using the leash and let him know that I ordered it to protect the investment in the pedometer. Sure enough in less than a full day's time, he came to me with the sweet words "You were right dear!" It is so worth it.Customer Review: it does the job

I have an Omron Pedometer that works beautifully....the only design fault is that the the security clasp is made of plastic which eventually broke......I replaced the clasp with the safety leash which works very well. It is a very simple metal device (think the clasp on a pair of suspenders with a 10" connecting strap) which takes the worry out of losing the pedometer. The cost of shipping was more than the leash but it was/is a good purchase...... a wise move if you're concerned about the possible loss of your Pedometer
