While I have nothing bad to say about these straps, there is 1 small thing that bothered me..literally. I had just purchased these and as soon as I got them, I tried them out. After my work out, from the constant touching of these, as I wiped my eyes to rid me of sweat. Not too long after I touched my eyes, I my eyelids started to get really irritated. I noticed there was a sort of powder on the bands themselves. So if anyone purchased these, i suggest you wipe them off with water, or alcohol. I love these though. I bought a purple and blue one. The purple one isn't as "heavy" as I thought, but they get the job done.Customer Review: Nice item for travel and/or to supplement full workout

This works very well for me. Its great when traveling to maintain fitness since it weighs about a pound, and I use it as part of a weight and aerobic workout at home as well. It is a nice change of pace and allows you to do some expercises not easily done on equipment. As another reviewier rightly observed, its not a substitute for heavy weights to failure. Its a high rep toning device that will mininimize backsliding when you cannot work out otherwise and add to a full workout with a little something different. I have been using this tube thingy for 2 months now. I'm really loving it because it is very versatile. most of my upper body work outs depend on this thing. This does provide a fairly large resistance when you strech is out further. great weight for bicep curls and tricep push downs or pull-downs. This does come in with a little exercise instruction brochure which inclueds a lot of exercises I would have never thought about.
I would get it a 4 1/2 star if they have it over here b/c I dont feel like it's a VERY heavy tube

If you don't feel like going to 24hr fitness everyday despite the ownership of a lifetime membership, This is what you would need to stay fit and strong. Very easy to manipulate different ways of workout. I mainly use this to build my upper body strength and It has done nothing but making me bulky and strong. And if you are a man looking for some toughness, buy a purple one. It's strong and flexible enough for some strenuous workout! but not recommend purple for women. go down a notch for less tension. a GREAT BUY!Customer Review: Great product

I purchased this exercise band after having rotator cuff surgery and I'd finished up my physical therapy.
It worked great, and I continue to use it several times a week. Not only are my shoulders getting stronger, but a side benefit is that my abdomen is becoming much stronger as well as my back muscles.
You do have to put the time into the exercises, but that's no biggie. It doesn't take that much time to tone up at all.
