Sports reviews of SKLZ Rick Smith Launch Pad - All Purpose Hitting MatCustomer Review: Does the job Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
Maybe the poor reviewers received "lemons" but the one I have is great! It serves its purpose well and has helped me keep my sanity by allowing me to practice my swing inside during the snow storms. The two tees (of different height) also help simulate tee shots with your driver and irons.

Seems to be well made. I haven't tried it yet but I like the fact that it has two levels. Use the taller grass side for practice chipping. Having two tee sizes allows for practice with your driver and irons. It's also very portable. I like the product very much.
Customer Review: Great, quality purchase Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I could not be more happy. The surface for this mat is high quality and simulates real grass very well. The two tee heights is a major plus. Need a good quality launch pad? This product is a sure bet.
Customer Review: Very useful for chipping and pitiching practice Sport shop rating: 4 Stars
As a beginner I used the SKLZ mat for practicing full swings with foam balls. The thick grass side comes off as the glue gives up under inaccurate hits (especially from beginners like me). I re-glued it back several times and kept using it. My swings are now a lot better than when I began - so the duration it took to come unglued increased as the months passed on. I am ordering another one to replace the destroyed mat after one year.
It's great for the price. The thick section provides realistic rough for chipping and pitching practice.
Customer Review: Quality and Design Issues Sport shop rating: 3 Stars
It started to fall apart on me the first day I got it. I was using foam practice balls and even with the light resistance of the foam balls it started to crack. Secondly, when I used the mat for the first time it I used it on pavement because I live in an urbanish area. When I proceeded to hit balls it took pieces of chunks out of the blade of my 5-iron. It is aesthetically pleasing but unforgiving and poor design.
