Not for the open road but if you need a reasonably priced light for city riding this is it ! I bought one for my daughter's bike and liked it so much that I bought one for my boy's girlfriend's bike. Then, the light on my wife's bike went bad and I bought another one for her bike ! That makes 3 so far . Best buy for the money in my opinion.
Description of SIGMA ILLUX LED Front Light
With its 3 super bright LEDs, the small, lightweight ILLUX provides adequate light at close range and is perfect for being seen. The special reflector design allows for very good side-on visibility. The bracket can be fastened on with an O-ring or cables ties. It fits comfortably into any pocket when not in use. A real plus in terms of safety.With its 3 super bright LEDs, Sigma Sport's small, lightweight Illux LED front light provides adequate light at close range and is perfect for being seen. Furthermore, the special reflector design allows for very good side-on visibility. For a quick trip out the LED light can soon be attached and removed to and from the handlebars very easily and flexibly thanks to the twist-lock bracket. The bracket can be fastened on with an O-ring, cables ties or Velcro tape (available as an option). It fits comfortably into any pocket.
