My first purchase of this type product and I am very pleased. There "may" be more products just as good, but I did get lucky on my first try. A comfortable fit, three light levels, the tilt, and hands free.
Will never have an outside use for this unit, so the only use I might have for the flash setting is for the wife to catch my attention in a store. She looses me easily at a distant.
I have low vision, especially in low light (37 years of diabetic retinopathy). About two years ago, I found out that LED is better for me than bulb light. Wish I had found out sooner. Of course, every diabetic is different.
Tonight I looked into my wife's ear with a bulb light, with magnified goggles, and saw nothing. The LED light revealed a small white bump. WOW!

The lightweight SIGMA headlight, equipped with five ultra bright light LEDs and is suitable for all kinds of usage from hiking to camping, to fixing your bike on a night ride. Its illumination power is extremely high, despite its small, compact construction. The reflector can be pivoted and individually locked in place. A removable, washable head band separates the HEADLED from its competitors.The lightweight Sigma HEADLED Black Headlight, now equipped with five ultra bright light LEDs, is suitable for all kinds of usage. Its illumination power, with two light modes, is extremely high, despite its small, compact construction and its reflector can be pivoted and individually locked in place. In addition each unit comes with a black removable, washable head band that separates the HEADLED from its competitors.
